Members' Opening: Open House: Elliott Hundley and 40 for LA

Member Event

MOCA members are the first to see new exhibitions. Beginning in spring 2019, MOCA presents multiple exhibitions celebrating the museum’s 40th anniversary and permanent collection. MOCA Grand Avenue features an exhibition organized by Los Angeles–based artist Elliott Hundley that uses work from MOCA’s permanent to explore architecture and the origins of collage. Additionally, 40 for LA, MOCA’s archive presentation, offers a glimpse into the institution’s past. This multimedia exhibition features archival materials from the museum’s vault, including rare photographs and lithographs, limited edition objects, a detailed exhibition and programming timeline, excerpts from the museum’s YouTube video project MOCAtv, and a special homage to all of the artists to whom the museum is indebted.

To become a member or upgrade your existing membership, please call or email the membership department.

Lead underwriting for MOCA’s 40th anniversary exhibitions and programs is provided by Sean and Alexandra Parker.
