Explore this question by looking at the art installation Suddenly this Overview, by the artists Fischli and Weiss, that is part of the One Day at a Time: Manny Farber and Termite Art exhibition. Fischli and Weiss are attempting to tell their version of the history of the world; what part of your life would you add to it? Celebrate the everyday or an important milestone by making your own art with Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist Jimena Sarno in collaboration with the MOCA Teen Program. In the style of Suddenly this Overview, participants will be invited to to tell their stories by creating their own three-dimensional objects and scenes using clay sculptural techniques and to collaborate in a collective installation. In her own installations, Sarno draws from her personal experience to build, rearrange, and re-contextualize objects, images, sound, and found text to explore how we understand the world and our place in it.
